This morning we are going to look at a very familiar verse of scripture. To set the scene the Lord and the disciples had just left the Last Supper. They were in the garden of Gethsemane and the Lord Jesus tells James, John and Peter to come with Him. He ask these men to watch and pray and Jesus goes a little further and fall on His face and cries out to God. Matthew, Mark and Luke all give this account of Jesus in the garden. Luke account even includes how Jesus was in such mental agony that His body was dripping drops of blood as though it were sweat from his brow.
