This morning we are going to look at a very familiar passage from Luke chapter 16 about the rich man and the beggar. When looking at this passage of scripture we cannot isolate it as if that was all that were said on either side of this passage. Jesus starts this chapter dealing with a rich man who had not been faithful with what he stewarded. Money over God was on His mind as he laid out the decree, Luke 16:13 No servant can serve two masters: for either he will hate the one, and love the other; or else he will hold to the one, and despise the other. Ye cannot serve God and mammon.
