This morning I want to talk to you about the word life. What do you think of when I say the word life? Some may say, when they see someone successful, man they are living the good life. What would that mean, they are successful, have money, have nice cars, have a good reputation in the community, possibly even financial security. This morning as we go to the word of God, Jesus says, I am the resurrection and the life. The word life in which Jesus speaks is in complete contradiction to our earthly life. Jesus is meaning eternal life. Life that we will enjoy in His presence. By the way, there is nothing wrong with having the things mentioned a moment ago but we must make Jesus Christ are first priority! In our salvation of and from God, God is to be glorified!
