They had heard Jesus say that He would be put to death and that He would rise on the 3^rd day! However, as the 2 men walked toward Emmaus they were joined by a strange man who seemed not to know of all that has happened in the city and that Christ had been crucified. Jesus even replies to Cleophas, what things? What things have happened?  Jesus of Nazareth which was a prophet mighty in deed and word before God and all the people.
