This morning we are going to look at the mockery of a trial that our Lord faced from the Sanhedrin. The collective religious leaders of the day. Before Jesus was tried in the roman court before Pilate He was first tried in the religious court of the Sanhedrin. Trial was opened by Annas former high priest, it moved to council who heard witnesses, and then in the early morning a vote was taken to move forward with bring Jesus before Roman court. Jesus was sent to Pilate then to Caesar, and back to Pilate. This morning we are just going to look into the first part of the trial.
